Custom Tracking Transmitters Microwave Telemetry, Inc. builds satellite tracking transmitters for field biologists. Orders must specifiy extensive information on both the hardware and the programming rewuired for each transmitter. Orders submitted by paper were frequently missing critical information, requiring MTI to contact the customer to fill in the blanks. The on-line ordering sysytem, built with Cold Fusion and MS SQL, allows customers to order transmitters to their specifications, while not allowing orders to be submitted until all the required information has been supplied. |
